Using Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarWash can double the effective life of your gear by cleaning and protecting against UV damage, while revitalizing durable water repellency (DWR) to repel rain.
Application - How to use:
- Set up tent or lay item flat and cover work surface.
- Spray the product evenly on the outside of the fabric. For larger items, it is best to work in sections.
- Rub in well with a damp cloth or sponge - especially where it is really dirty. If necessary, you can also use a soft nylon brush to get rid of stubborn stains.
- Then rinse thoroughly with clean water and a cloth or sponge.
Drying:
Allow the equipment to air dry. Allow to dry completely before repacking.
* If you do not rinse off the excess product properly, stains may occur. It is best to test the product on an inconspicuous area beforehand.
The amount required depends on the condition of the material - so this is only a rough guide.
